Puppy Contract Agreement
a.) Your puppy is guaranteed for 1 year from the date of birth against life threatening congenital defects. If within that time a life-threatening congenital defect (Not to include Parvo virus, Distemper virus, Heartworms, or any nutritional related disease) is attested to by two non-associated licensed veterinarians and the reason is congenital, the breeder will refund the full amount paid minus any fees associated with the payment. You will not receive any other kind of reimbursement. Your puppy will be up to date on shots and de-worming prior to pick-up. Official records of these have been provided in the purchaser's puppy packet. We encourage you to take this health record to your veterinarian, it is important to continue with the vaccination and de-worming schedule after taking ownership of your new puppy.
b.) Certain disorders may be caused by environmental factors, including but not limited to, the following: coccidia, giardia, kennel cough, cancer, demodectic mange, scabies, allergies, and other autoimmune system disorders, and these are not covered in this guarantee. This guarantee does not include injuries, fleas, mites, or any intestinal worm/ parasite. This guarantee does not include uneven bites, undescended testicles, class I or II murmur, inguinal or umbilical hernias. We the breeder will not be responsible for Parvo, Distemper or Corona Virus after 24 hours of the sale, as these are highly contagious diseases, and they can be contacted immediately after leaving our home. Buyer is responsible to get a Health Exam within 3 days from the time of purchase by a licensed vet that is in good standing with Veterinarian State Board. If this does not happen, Health Guarantee is null and void.
c.) You, the purchaser, agree to ensure your puppy's good health and to keep our guarantee in effect by taking good care of the puppy and providing good food, housing, and good medical care. As a responsible puppy owner/ purchaser, you must provide your puppy with routine preventative care and all immunizations, administer worm preventatives and annual physical examinations by a licensed veterinarian. Guarantee does not cover is the puppy dies from hypoglycemia (low blood sugar) due to lack of care or negligence.
d.) This contract is only valid for the original purchaser of this puppy as stated on the contract. If the puppy/dog is transferred to another owner at any time, this contract becomes null and void. This contract is null and void if any of the terms and conditions are not fulfilled. We will take a puppy back at any time, no refund will be given. Seller does not guarantee size and color when full grown, a size chart is an estimate only.
e.) This guarantee must be signed at the time of pickup and both parties receive a copy of this signed document. By Signing below both parties, breeder and purchaser, have agreed to this 1-year health guarantee and understand the terms and conditions of the contract.

Yorkshire Terrier Puppy Deposit Agreement Contract
This Puppy Deposit Agreement Contract ("Agreement") is made on this 23rd day of July, 2023, between Hummingbird Farm & Gardens ("Breeder") and the undersigned ("Buyer") for the purpose of placing a deposit of $500 towards the purchase of a Yorkshire Terrier puppy.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. Deposit Amount and Payment: Buyer agrees to pay a non-refundable deposit of $500 to reserve a Yorkshire Terrier puppy from the Breeder. The deposit will be applied towards the final purchase price of the puppy. The remaining balance will be due upon the transfer of ownership to the Buyer.
2. Selection of Puppy: The Buyer acknowledges that the selection of the puppy will be based on the order in which the deposits were received for the specific litter. However, the Breeder retains the right to refuse the sale if they determine that the puppy is not suitable for the Buyer's circumstances.
3. Transfer of Ownership: The transfer of ownership will take place when the puppy is at least eight weeks old and has received all age-appropriate vaccinations and veterinary care. The Breeder will contact the Buyer to schedule the pickup or shipping arrangements, which will be at the Buyer's expense.
4. Health Guarantee: The Breeder guarantees that the puppy will be in good health at the time of transfer. The Buyer agrees to have the puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian within 72 hours of the transfer of ownership. If the veterinarian determines that the puppy has any serious medical conditions or congenital defects, the Buyer may choose to return the puppy for a full refund of the purchase price, or apply the deposit towards another available puppy.
5. Breeder's Responsibility: The Breeder agrees to provide appropriate care, nutrition, and socialization for the puppy until the transfer of ownership. The puppy will receive necessary vaccinations and deworming treatments as indicated by their age.
6. Buyer's Responsibility: The Buyer agrees to provide a loving and safe home for the puppy. This includes providing proper nutrition, veterinary care, and socialization, as well as adhering to all applicable laws and regulations regarding pet ownership. The Buyer will also provide periodic updates to the Breeder on the puppy's well-being & vet check within 3 days of receiving puppy.
7. Refund Policy: The deposit is non-refundable, except as outlined in clause 4 of this Agreement.
